The Senior Year Plan
The Senior Year Plan focuses on helping students assemble an application package that best reflects who they are and who they will be on a college campus. The work of the Senior Year Plan typically starts as soon as the junior year of high school ends or shortly thereafter. Students are taught the writing skills they need to effectively craft a compelling Common App Personal Statement as well as school-specific supplemental responses.
The Senior Year Plan also focuses on helping students finalize their college application list as well as deciding on the application submission order (early round, regular decision, rolling admissions, etc.). Students will also receive support with financial aid forms, such as the FAFSA or CSS/PROFILE, if needed. The Senior Year Plan also covers support for drafting scholarship applications and letters of continued interest. Students are also encouraged to keep their academics strong throughout the year and receive support with time management skills for prompt submissions of applications.
The Senior Year Plan focuses on completing all aspects of the college application process and the pursuit of scholarship opportunities. The Senior Year Plan also supports students in the following areas:
This service plan consists of 20 session hours and starts towards the end of the junior year or as late as the start of senior year.
